ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that there is no threat to justice system and the courts are dispensing justice independently and without any discrimination, Geo News reported on Sunday.
This he said while addressing National Judicial (Policy making) Committee here. The meeting was attended by Chief Justices of Provincial High Courts, Islamabad High Court, Secretary Law and Justice Commission besides Registrar Supreme Court.
The Chief Justice stated that judiciary is struggling for improvement in justice system and provision of inexpensive and expeditious justice to the masses at their doorstep.
He further said that confidence of people on justice system is improving, adding that judiciary is also reviewing corruption in the system.
