Policeman killed, DIG injured in Quetta suicide blast

QUETTA: One policeman was killed and 13 other people sustained injuries when a suicide bomber ripped his explosive-laden vehicle through DIG home, Geo News reported on Thursday.

According to CCPO Quetta Dawood Junejo, the suicide bomber detonated his vehicle outside the house situated in Gulistan road as a result a police official was killed and 13 people including two children were injured. The blast also smashed the windows of nearby buildings.

DIG investigation Wazir Khan is also said to be injured in the blast. The injured were shifted to hospital.

Police have cordoned off the area after the incident.
