ISLAMABAD: Margallah police have arrested five persons hailing from Afghanistan for their alleged involvement in stealing motorbikes from various areas of the city and also recovered motorbikes from their possession, a police spokesman claimed on Monday.
Police arrested five Afghan nationals Nadir Khan s/o Taza Gul, Abdul Hadi s/o Khan Jan, Daud Jan s/o Gul Khan, Sarwar Khan s/o Umer Khan and Jabbbar Khan s/o Kala Khan.
During the preliminary investigation, they confessed to steal 10 motorbikes from sector G-9 and police also recovered a motorbike (LOF-6971) from them.
On a tip off, Shalimar police nabbed two dacoits Sajjad and Suuny during a raid at their hide out along with two 30 bore pistols while their three other accomplices Humayun, Shahhid and Nasir managed to escape.
