LAHORE: Seventy-five prisoners involved in petty offences were bailed out from camp jail on Friday.
Camp Jail Superintendent Gulzar Ahmad Butt said that Additional District and Sessions Judge Syed Pervaiz Ali Shahand Khalid Saeed Wattoo conducted summary trial of prisoners on the jail premises and ordered the release of 75 prisoners on bail.
Now a total of 3,975 prisoners are housed in the prison against the sanctioned strength of 1050.(APP)
