MUSCUT: Pakistan and India were declared joint winners of the Asian Champions Trophy 2018 on Sunday after a thunderstorm and heavy showers forced the final to be abandoned.

The green shirts had overcome a strong Malaysian side in the semifinal 3-1 in the shootout after a 4-4 draw in the regulation period to play their fifth consecutive Asian Champions Trophy final.

India, on the other hand, had edged out Japan 3-2 in their semi-final match.

In their earlier meeting in the tournament, India had defeated Pakistan 3-1.
