CHARSADDA: Four people, including Chief Secretary of the Charsadda Press Club Ahsan Sherpao, were shot dead here on Tuesday over an alleged domestic dispute, Geo News reported.

According to police, the suspect, Arshad Jamal, shot dead his mother, sister-in-law and a two-year old nephew over a dispute. He then fled from the scene and came across Ahsan Sherpao on the way, who was in his car.

The suspect shot at the senior journalist, who died on the spot. Sherpao was the suspect’s cousin.

Police said the suspect is a drug addict and had also killed his wife prior to the incident.

Search for the suspect is under way.
