QUETTA: A car bomb blast took place outside office of a non-governmental organization in the provincial capital Quetta on Tuesday morning.
"Unidentified men had parked an explosive-laden car outside office of a local NGO on New Gilani Road and detonated it with remote control", Police said adding that as a result of the explosion, two persons sitting in the office of the office sustained injuries.
The NGO office caught fire and all goods present there gutted.
The powerful blast also caused smashing of windowpanes of nearby buildings.
The injured were rushed to civil hospital.
The law enforcement agencies personnel rushed to the site soon after the incident and cordoned off the entire area to trace out the suspect. Further investigation was underway.
