KARACHI: Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi Friday questioned US’s assertion in which the latter stated that it had no strategy to win war on terrorism after Pakistan has laid down over 30,000 precious lives of innocent people and faced loss of billions of dollars being ally of US on that cause, Geo News reported.
This Qureshi told media after meeting with chief of Sunni Tehreek Sarwat Ijaz Qadri here at Markaz Ahl-e-Sunnat.
“I was not invited to PPP’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting, which held on April 4, but despite that I visited Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s grave and offered fateha because I am still an integral part of ZAB’s party.”
“I welcomed MQM on making entry into Punjab as every political party should enjoy the freedom of expression,” he said
He described peoples’ demand of forming new provinces as justified, adding that it can happen where it is necessary.
On the occasion, chief ST Sarwat Ijaz Qadri offered his support to Qureshi to eliminate extremism from country.
