FAISALABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Jahangir Tareen dismissed news of rift with Finance Minister Asad Umar as baseless.

While speaking to journalists here, Tareen said that there was no meeting held between them recently.

While responding to a question about those ministers who will be asked for resignations, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would know their names.

Tareen said that the PTI will fulfill its promises made to the public and a Southern Punjab province will be made.

He said that after the formation of Pakistan no new province has been formed.

Earlier in a statement, the Ministry of Finance also had dismissed reports of an altercation between Umar and Adviser to the PM on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood and senior PTI leader Jahangir Tareen.
