ISLAMABAD: Water level rose at both the major reservoirs of the country Tarbela and Mangla this week. Water level at Tarbela was recorded 1397.35 feet and at Mangla 1115.80 feet which is 19.35 feet and 76 feet above than the dead levels respectively.
According to the data released by Indus River System Authority (IRSA) here on Monday, 1397.35 feet water level was recorded at Tarbela which was 19.35 feet above than the dead level of 1378 feet with a total inflow 34,400 cusec and out flow 30,000 cusec.
Water level at Mangla was recorded 1115.80 feet which was 76 feet above than the dead level of 1040 feet with a total inflow 58,845 and outflow 50,000 cusec.
Contribution of River Kabul and Chenab 33,800 cusec and 29,223 cusec was recorded respectively according to the data. (APP)
