Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra and US pop singer Nick Jonas tied the knot over a three-day ceremony at Umaid Bhawan Palace of Jodhpur last week.

The pictures of the couple at their Christian and Hindu ceremony were released by People magazine while Nick and Priyanka shared pictures of their sangeet and mehndi lagai ceremonies.

Now, ace Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee who designed Priyanka’s red lehnga for her Hindu wedding ceremony has shared stunning pictures of the actor.

People magazine said the lehenga took 110 embroiders from Calcutta 3,720 hours to create. The lehenga on the bride’s request had the names of her husband and parents sewn into the waistband.

Sabyasachi also shared a picture from the varmala ceremony which shows an excited Priyanka laughing as she tries to put the wedding garland around Nick.

For the Christian ceremony, Chopra wore a white Ralph Lauren wedding dress with hand embroidered flower motif on lace. According to People magazine, Ralph Lauren sketched the gown himself with the embroidery taking over 1,800 hours to complete. Jonas wore a custom-made double-breasted tuxedo by Ralph Lauren.

On Wednesday, Priyanka spoke to NDTV about her wedding and revealed the most special moment from her wedding. “The most special moment was when the curtains opened and I saw him at the altar and life was okay in that moment,” she said.

Regarding life after marriage, the actor said, “Women are always expected to have to shift their focus after love or marriage, but Nick didn’t expect me to do that. I’ve never had a guy who has said be ambitious and do what you want to do.”

Speaking about her outfits at both the Hindu and Christian weddings, she said that it was not about fashion but a personal choice. “I wanted something unique. Both the dresses - red and white - were personalised for me... I wanted the longest veil in the world and I got that. The outfits were personal choices,” Priyanka shared.
