KARACHI: Pakistan’s Amir Tariq went down to China Huang Jiahao 4-3 after an interesting tussle in the 16th Asian Snooker Championship in Beijing (China) on Friday.
Amir, who won his opening match against Iran’s Alireza, went down to Chinese cueman despite taking 2-0 lead.
Pakistani got off a sterling start by grabbing the opening two frames against Haung.
However, in a great turnaround Hunag Jiahao came back style to chalk out 42-70, 49-56, 66-1, 52-16, 17-66, 71-24, 68-10.
Amir Tariq will meet Fung Tam Yun in his third match on Saturday.
