LAHORE: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Political Affairs Naeemul Haque on Sunday rejected the possibility of mid-term polls.
"There are no chances of midterm polls. We are starting public gatherings for mass contact movement from Jan27 at Mianwali," Haque told journalists.
He said that important decisions on Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari cases will be given in the coming days, adding that the properties of both the leaders should be taken under government custody.
"Both the leadership is a billionaire. We believe punishment will be given to people who looted national exchequer," he said. "Nawaz wants power for children, his politics revolves around sticking with the power corridors."
The PTI leader said that the government wants to create an environment of cooperation with the opposition, adding that the party has become the biggest party in Punjab.
Haque claimed that the government will go into the IMF package according to it's demands.
