ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Monday that the government is sticking to the demand of Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah’s resignation.
The information minister said that the National Accountability Bureau will investigate regarding Murad Ali Shah.
The names are placed on the Exit Control List not because of designations but on the basis of character, said the minister.
“Murad Ali Shah played an important role in Thugs of Pakistan,” said Fawad Chaudhry, adding that former president Asif Ali Zardari was the owner of Omni group.
He further said that someone’s name being removed from the ECL does not mean they won’t be investigated.
While speaking on the recent visit of Abu Dhabi crown prince Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chaudhry said that his visit’s first part was private while the other was official.
