FM Qureshi, former AJK premier Chaudhry meet to talk Kashmir issue

Qureshi informed Chaudhry that the Kashmir issue was an important pillar of Pakistan's foreign policy

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi met with the president of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Azad Kashmir chapter here on Thursday.

During the meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here in the capital city, talks were held between Qureshi and Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, who has also previously held the post of Azad Kashmir's prime minister on matters pertaining to the party as well as the Kashmir issue.

Qureshi informed Chaudhry that the Kashmir issue was an important pillar of Pakistan's foreign policy and "our position on the Kashmir issue is very clear and categorical".

The entire world can see whatever aggression and brutality India is perpetrating in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir, he added further.

In response, the barrister thanked the foreign minister for highlighting the Kashmir issue.
