LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Mines and Minerals, Ammar Yasir, who belongs from Pakistan Muslim-League Quaid resigned on Friday citing pressure on work.
In his resignation, the minister said that undue pressure and hurdles were put on his work due to which he can no longer perform his duties.
Yasir said that he took up the job to serve the country and nation, adding that he cannot work under undue pressure.
After the 2018 General Elections, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has formed a joint government with Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid and brought former provincial chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as the speaker of the Punjab Assembly.
