Nation be taken into confidence over Abbottabad: Shujaat

ISLAMABAD: Chaudhry Shujaat Hussian, President of Pakistan Muslim League-Q which recently joined the coalition government, expressing concern over the US-led operation in Abbottabad, called for taking the nation and all the political parties into confidence, Geo News reported Saturday.

In a statement issued here, Shujaat said the manner in which the Abbottabad operation was carried out had given rise to many concerns in terms of the national integrity.

He suggested that parties outside the parliament should also be made part of the consultative process.

The PML-Q President underlined need for devising of a national strategy to forestall the repeat of any Abbottabad type incident in future.
