ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party President Asif Ali Zardari sent a clear message to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the Kashmir conference here on Saturday.
“Modi should understand that all political forces have the same stance on Kashmir,” Zardari said.
The PPP president emphasized that the government’s stance on Kashmir was also the stance of the entire nation. “I hope to see Kashmir free in my lifetime.”
“We will never forget Kashmir, we will never leave Kashmir,” he added.
During the weekly news briefing on Thursday, Foreign Office spokesman Dr Muhammad Faisal termed the summoning of Pakistan’s high commissioner political gimmickry and electioneering. “Kashmir is an unresolved issue between Pakistan and India and summoning the Pakistani high commissioner is political gimmickry,” Dr Faisal said.
