DUBAI: The players and management of Pakistan Super League team Multan Sultans on Monday attended the third ODI between women teams of Pakistan and West Indies in Dubai.

Top Multan Sultans players, including fast bowler Mohammad Irfan and batsman Shan Masood, along with manager Nadeem Khan and others visited the ICC Academy to cheer on the women's team.

Ali Tareen, the owner of Multan Sultans, said that the franchise wanted to motivate the women's team which is why the squad visited the ground.

“I have always supported women's cricket. It was a good opportunity as we all are here with the team so we came here to support our girls,” Tareen said.

The squad also met with the players during the innings break to convey them best wishes.

The women players also welcomed the team and shared their excitement at the support. 

“It’s always good for the players, to see people coming to cheer for them. It obviously charges them to do better in the field,” said Aisha Ashhar, the GM of PCB's women wing.
