Qalandars’ Anton Devcich excited to come, play in Lahore

DUBAI: Lahore Qalandars’ Anton Devcich said on Wednesday that he is excited to come to Lahore to play the Pakistan Super League’s fourth edition.

In a message released by the franchise, the Kiwi player said “It’s a great family to be part of. Hopefully this year we will push for the final bid,” he said. “Hopefully I will contribute to a good winning team. Its really fun to come back.”

He said that the team gets phenomenal support in Dubai International Stadium.

“It will be really amazing to see people coming out to support Lahore,” he said. “Hopefully we will see the sea of green when we get over there.”

Qalandars will play their first match of the tournament against Islamabad United tomorrow.
