Anti encroachments operation continues

LAHORE: The district administration on 57th consecutive day of its ongoing operation clean up against encroachments, cleared more than 40 kilometres area in all nine towns on Thursday.

The administration of towns following directions of the DCO took part in operation and demolished several illegally constructed shops, pedestals and many other illegal structures.

FIRs were lodged against encroachers in various towns for raising illegal structure.

According to the city administration sources, anti encroachment teams also seized six trucks of different kind of material from the possession of encroachers.

The towns have also been directed by the DCO to monitor areas continuously where encroachments had been removed so that encroachers could not reconstruct illegal structure. (APP)
