SHARJAH: Islamabad United's 18-year-old Muhammad Musa proved himself as the X-factor in the Friday night match against Peshawar Zalmi by scripting a 12-run win with his sensational 3-for-23 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Skipper Mohammad Sami recorded a phenomenal hattrick in the game's last over by dismissing  Wahab Riaz, Umaid Asif, and Hasan Ali in the death overs.

Faheem Ashraf extended the pressure on Zalmi by taking the wicket of Imam-ul-Haq. He picked two wickets.

The game dramatically shifted in Zalmi's favour courtesy of strong-hitting by skipper Darren Sammy and Kieron Pollard; however, the onslaught stopped after a while with credit to Ashraf and Musa.
