ABU DHABI: Quetta Gladiators all-rounder Dwayne Bravo – popularly known as DJ Bravo – is impressed with the raw pace that has dominated the ongoing season of the Pakistan Super League.
Speaking to Geo after Sarfraz Ahmed-led Quetta sealed a spot in the playoffs with a win over Peshawar Zalmi, Bravo said it is heartening to see so much raw talent on display.
“[We’ve seen] raw pace by the youngsters, they just need more game time and more confidence,” the West Indian cricketer said, referring to the quartet of Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Ilyas and Mohammad Musa who have impressed everyone with 145+ bowling speeds.
Bravo said team Quetta have the strongest combination in the tournament, and that he is looking forward to visiting Pakistan for the last leg of the league.
“Pakistan is a cricket-crazy nation and I know I have a fan following there. I’m looking forward to visiting,” he said.
