Pakistan's net foreign reserves increase by $36mn: SBP

KARACHI: The foreign reserves of the country have increased by $36 million, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.

The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $14,956.2 million on March 1, 2019, the SBP said in a statement.

The central bank said the foreign reserves held by it stood at $8116.5 million, while those held by commercial banks at $6839.7 million.

During the week ending on March 1, SBP's reserves increased by US$80 million to US$8,116.5 million, the statement read.
