Dacoits escape with cash after holding patients, staff hostage at Multan hospital
CCTV footage shows one of the dacoits firing inside the hospital; however, there were no reports of any casualties

MULTAN: Dacoits on Wednesday night escaped with a huge amount of stolen cash after attacking a local hospital and holding the people inside hostage.
According to officers of Police Chowki, Lar, four dacoits with faces hidden under a cloth broke into the Liaquat Tareen Hospital near Multan's Ayyazabad Qasba Maral.
The dacoits then held the hospital staff and patients inside at gunpoint, as hostages, while they continued looting.
A closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage obtained by Geo News shows one of the dacoits firing inside the hospital; however, there were no reports of any casualties.
The dacoits managed to escape with a large amount of cash.
Officers of Police Chowki, Lar said an investigation has been launched into the incident.
