ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that if the lawyers had not come out against the November 3 actions, then democracy could not have been restored and added the black coat gave courage and conviction to entire nation,
Addressing the newly registered lawyers in the Supreme Court, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that the lawyers changed the trend of history and now it was the responsibility to the lawyers to sustain this sanctity of the black coat.
He said that the people have high expectations from the courts, they want justice and without the cooperation of the lawyers it was not possible to meet the expectation of the people.
