Names of key PML-N leaders placed on ECL: sources

ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Friday placed the names of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Hamza Shehbaz, Suleman Shehbaz, Miftah Ismail and others on the Exit Control List (ECL), sources told Geo News.

The government approved placement of Hamza Shehbaz, Suleman Shehbaz and Miftah Ismail's names on the ECL on the recommendation of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), sources said.

They said former head of Pakistan Steel Mills Moin Aftab was also put on the list barring individuals from travelling abroad.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi's name was placed on the ECL with regard to LNG case, the sources said further.

The federal cabinet had earlier approved placement of Abbasi's name on the ECL.
