In a candid interview to The Current, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari spoke about what he was looking for in a life partner, what he likes to eat and memories of his mother Benazir Bhutto.
“There has to be a level of connectivity. We have to get along. She would have to be intelligent and educated. Perhaps a sense of humour. And most importantly get on with my sisters,” Bilawal said when asked about what he was looking for in a life partner.
The PPP chairman added that he would have no choice but to let the media cover his wedding.
Bilawal spoke on the advice his mother gave him and one that he tried to follow was not to react in anger.
“When I got into Oxford my mother was the happiest I have seen her,” Bilawal said when speaking about memories of Benazir Bhutto.
“My mother was very careful to insist that we were all were equally her favourite. I fell there is a special relationship between a mother and a son,” he said, adding that his sisters were probably his father’s favourite.
Speaking on the state of the PPP, Bilawal stressed that his party was “very much politically current.”
The PPP chairman revealed that he preferred Karachi to Islamabad, biryani to pullao and Haleem was his favourite thing to eat in the morning and night.
