ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday opposed the presidential system and said they will stop any attempts to bring it.

Speaking to the media after appearing before an accountability court in Islamabad in a reference pertaining to the fake bank accounts and money laundering case, the former president said, "New experiments are conducted on Pakistan on a daily basis."

"The situation is worsening by the day," he added.

In response to a journalist's question regarding presidential system, Zardari said, "If attempts are made to bring presidential system, we will stop them."
