LAHORE: A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday extended the interim bail of Punjab Opposition Leader Hamza Shehbaz to April 25 in assets beyond means, money laundering and Saaf Paani cases.

The provincial opposition leader's bail was ending today in all three cases.

The NAB counsel maintained that reports of all three cases have been presented before the courts and alleged that Hamza is involved in money laundering. In reaction to which, Hamza's counsel argued that his client has not been provided full copies and require time to submit the reply.

The counsel said that the NAB reports have omitted and blurred pages which are unreadable.

A team of NAB on Saturday visited the residence of Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif's daughter in Model Town area of the city and served a notice summoning them in an assets-beyond-means case.

Responding to reports of a raid at the residence of Shehbaz's daughter, the NAB Lahore said a team of its officials went there to serve the notice summoning them on April 16.

The Lahore High Court earlier restrained NAB from arresting Hamza. NAB had carried out two successive raids last week at Shehbaz's Model Town residence to arrest Hamza.
