Not against accountability but there should be one law for everyone: Bilawal

The PPP chairman also criticises the MQM-P for being in coalition with the ruling PTI in the centre

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday said they were not against accountability, but there should be one law for everyone.

Addressing a rally on the Labour Day, the PPP chairman said they did not have reservations over accountability, but there were concerned about "NAB gardi".

He said they were not afraid of the National Accountability Bureau's high-handedness.

"They want to deprive us of the rights given because of the 18th Amendment," Bilawal told the participants.

"The puppet of Islamabad does not have the right to decide about you."

He also said the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan will also have to furnish an explanation regarding a sense of deprivation in Sindh.

The PPP chairman said they all will have to be accountable for the "Naya Pakistan", adding, "MQM will also have be accountable for this change".

He alleged that the votes of Karachi populace were plundered, but they were silent.

"MQM did not lose Nine Zero election; it was a fake election," Bilawal said, adding that he would keep speaking out for Karachi.
