Two gunned down on GT Rd. Kharian

LALA MUSA: Unidentified assailants gunned down two persons and injured another on GT road Kharian on Saturday.

Police sources said that Ghulam Shabbir alias Kalay Shah,his driver Abdul Razzaq,and their companion Tariq were on their way to Lalamusa from Kharian in a car when they were hit by a speeding car (LEE-2009). The car rolled off to the opposite road. In the mean time, some men from another car resorted to firing on Ghulam Shabbir and companions. As a result, Ghulam Shabbir, his driver Abdur Razzaq died on the spot while Tariq received multiple injuries.

The assailants snatched a motorcycle from Muhammad Aslam and managed to escape. DPO Gujrat Afzal Kausar, SP Afzal Virk, DSP Multan Meeran and other officials inspected site of the crime. Further investigation was in progress.
