The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday released "Stand By", the official song for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, which is set to kick off in England and Wales on May 30.

The song is a collaboration between new artist LORYN and Rudimental, one of the UK's most successful English drum and bass bands.

According to the ICC, the partnership between LORYN and Rudimental "celebrates the cultural diversity of The United Kingdom" and the will be played in ground and city events across the tournament as the event's official song.

"'Stand By' will be played around the world and provide a common voice for fans to show their passion," said the ICC.

One of the world's biggest global sporting events, the 48 matches of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019 are expected to attract one million fans in the UK and an additional one billion fans watching world-wide
