Yoghurt remains one of the staple items on Iftar and Sehri tables as it keeps the body hydrated. Therefore, to add a twist and add some flavour to yoghurt in Ramzan, here are five dips you can create with yoghurt to tantalize your taste buds. 

Ranch Dip Puree 

1/2 cup plain Greek yoghurt with

1/4 cup each mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons each chopped chives

2 tablespoons dill

1 garlic clove

Salt and pepper for seasoning

Light Caesar Dressing Puree 

1/2 cup nonfat plain Greek yoghurt,

2 tablespoons grated parmesan

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard

2 anchovies

Juice of 1/2 lemon.

Lemon Hummus Puree 

1/2 cup plain Greek yoghurt with

one 15-ounce can chickpeas (drained and rinsed)

2 tablespoons tahini

1 teaspoon lemon zest

2 ripe avocados with

1/2 cup plain Greek yoghurt.

Stir in 1/2 chopped small red onion and

Add the juice of 1 lime and

Cilantro-Lime Yogurt Dip Puree 

1/2 cup plain yoghurt with

1/4 cup chopped scallions

1/4 cup cilantro

1 teaspoon each lime zest

1 teaspoon lime juice

1 teaspoon hot sauce and

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
