LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday constituted a new two-member bench to hear the bail petition of the Punjab Assembly’s opposition leader Hamza Shehbaz in assets beyond means sources of income and money laundering cases.
The two-member bench which will comprise Justice Mazhar Ali Akbar Naqvi and Justice Shahid Waheed Khan will hear the petitions of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader on June 3.
A day earlier, an LHC division bench declined to hear Hamza’s bail petitions after the PML-N leader expressed mistrust in the bench in the wake of a controversial media interview given by National Accountability Bureau chairman.
