Malala Yousafzai took a friendly dig at the Indian cricket team at the star-studded opening ceremony of the cricket World Cup in London.
The Nobel Peace Prize recipient was asked during a 60-second challenge about the Pakistan team’s performance during the ODI games, she said: “Pakistan, we were okay, not too bad. We came seventh. But India came last.” The crowd erupted into laughter after her comment.
The ICC World Cup’s opening ceremony was attended by cricketers and celebrities from all the 10 participating nations at the Buckingham Palace.
