ISLAMABAD: The state minister for parliamentary affairs on Friday demanded that the "membership of those [members of the National Assembly] because of whom casualties occurred should be revoked", in reference to the North Waziristan clash last Sunday that according to the military was perpetrated by a group led by Mohsin Javed Dawar and Ali Wazir.

Ali Muhammad Khan, the minister of state for parliamentary affairs, was addressing the assembly here in the capital city.

Members of the Opposition, in response, protested as Ali Muhammad Khan spoke. On the other hand, representatives of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also came to counter-protest.

Both the parties ended up in a chaotic scuffle in front of the NA Speaker's dais.

Earlier, in his report, the deputy commissioner for North Waziristan Tribal District had said two MNAs associated with the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) were responsible for last Sunday's attack on the Khar Kamar checkpost in North Waziristan.

According to the report, a copy of which was available with Geo News, MNAs Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir goaded protestors to attack the check post in Boyya, North Waziristan.
