KASUR: The body of four-year-old boy reported missing a day prior from the city's Kot Radha Kishan area has been recovered from a buffalo shed, police said Sunday.

According to police, Mushtaq — a resident of the Kachian Lainan village — had left three of his minor children at home to go to Pattoki with his wife; however, when the couple returned in the evening, they discovered that Ali Zain, their four-year-old, was missing.

The four-year-old's body was found earlier today from a room in the buffalo shed adjacent to the main area. It has been shifted to a nearby hospital for post-mortem.

Police added that the truth can be only ascertained once the post-mortem report is released.
