RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has extended his greetings to fellow Pakistanis on Eid-ul-Fitr.
"Eid Mubarak with prayers for peace, progress and prosperity of Pakistan. Aamen," the army chief was quoted as saying by Major General Asif Ghafoor, director general (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The DG ISPR also wished a happy Eid to the nation on behalf of the armed forces of Pakistan.
Muslims in Pakistan and many other countries will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday, June 5.
The occasion marks the end of holy month of Ramzan, during which Muslims fast from dawn till dusk.
