Given its glorious 14 runs win against England, it's highly unlikely that Pakistan will make a change in its squad for the match against Sri Lanka and would stick with its winning combination. However, with overcast conditions expected a case can be made for playing an extra seamer.

Considering Sri Lanka's performance against seamers in their first two matches of the World Cup, it would not be a bad idea to go with an extra seamer and attack the Sri Lankan batsmen with a new-ball.

Attacking with seamers from both ends, Pakistan can get some early breakthroughs which would definitely put the Sri Lankan team on the back-foot.

Here, the questions are, who that seamer could be and who would be replaced?

Pakistan has Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Hasnain on the bench waiting for their turn.

Shaheen Afridi could be the best option for Pakistan as he shown some good performances with the new ball unlike Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz.

Shaheen should replace Shoaib Malik. While Malik bowled well in the last match, Shaheen increases the chances of Pakistan coming out with a win.
