Group of men eve-tease women in Changa Manga, beat families for saying 'no'

KASUR: A group of men eve-teased women who had come with their families to the Changa Manga Forest Park here near the city on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The perverts assaulted multiple people in the crowded park, beating them with sticks, canes, and rods when men in the affected families told them to stop harassing the women.

According to eyewitnesses, the families told the men, "No, don't tease the women," which led to a fight. Police officers, who were stationed nearby, watched the scuffle without saying or doing anything, they said.

It was only when '15' was called that a team of police officers arrived at the scene and took into custody some of the men who were harassing the women.

On the other hand, police have taken no action against the sexual harassers, whereas Mohammad Naeem, the deputy superintendent of police (DSP) for Chunian, said they were busy investigating but have not registered a first information report (FIR) yet.
