QUETTA: Additional IGP Balochistan and CCPO Quetta Ghalib Bandesha urged transporters particularly truck owners to avail tracking system for security and theft protection of their vehicles.
He said this in a briefing held at IGP Balochistan Office on Saturday to highlight latest technology of tracking system.
Senior police officials and representatives of transporters and traders attended the briefing.
Speaking on the occasion, the Additional IGP said West countries had priority on us due to their science and technology related research and programmes. He said a transporter could protect his vehicle from theft with availing tracking system.
"We want transporters to get information about tracking system technology besides availing it", he said adding that however police was not forcing transporters to must avail this system but it was reality that the tracking system had become a need of hour keeping in view the situation. (APP)
