Seven arrested, arms recovered

KARACHI: Sharafi Goath and Zaman Town police arrested seven outlaws and recovered illegal weapons, narcotics, looted cash and mobiles phones from them here on Wednesday.

As pet details, SHO Sharafi Goth conducted successful raids against narcotics peddlers in three different places and arrested five accused, Zaheer Ahmad, Muhammad Zaman, Fazal Raheem, Adnan Shah alias Langra and Khan alias Babo and recovered 150 small packets of heroin and several rods of hashish. Cases under Anti Narcotic Act were registered against the arrested accused.

Meanwhile, Sharifi Ghoth Police arrested a member of bandit group and recovered a pistol, magazine and five bullets. He was wanted in various cases.

Zaman Town Police arrested the mastermind of a dacoit group red-handed when he was looting a passenger bus at Korangi area near Nasir Jump while his two accomplices fled.

Police recovered a pistol, magazine, six bullets, looted cash and mobiles sets from the arrested accused, Zohaib s/o Abdul Rahim.
