"A local contractor identified as Sanaullah Bareech was on his way on Sabzal road when five gunmen intercepted him and took him away to unknown destination on gunpoint", police told on Wednesday.
Activists of Bareech Qaumi Ittehad blocked the road in protest; however, they dispersed peacefully after the police assured them that the victim would be recovered soon.
The police have registered a case against the accused and started investigation into the incident.
