ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday issued assets details of federal lawmakers, including of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The premier has declared that he owns assets worth Rs10.82 crore while his wife Bushra Bibi owns a three-kanal home. PM Imran maintained that as the property was gifted to him, he didn’t declare the value of his residence.
PM Imran also holds Dollar, Euro and British Pounds accounts, and approximately 155 acres of commercial and agriculture land.
Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif has declared Rs189,649,020 as total value of his assets with liabilities of Rs123,168,815. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz president has net wealth of Rs64,480,205, and his wives, Nusrat Shehbaz and Tehmina Durrani, have assets of Rs234,703,652 and Rs5,765,668.
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is among the richest parliamentarians as the party leader own assets worth over Rs1.54 billion and have shares in as many as two villas in Dubai. Meanwhile, his father, Asif Ali Zardari, owns assets worth Rs66 crore. Both the leaders are Iqama holders of Dubai.
