Keeping Nawaz behind bars now is a crime: Maryam Nawaz

MANDI BAHAUDDIN: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice President Maryam Nawaz said on Friday that it is a good news for former prime minister Nawaz Sharif that he has been proven innocent and keeping him behind bars now is a crime.

The PML-N leader was addressing workers in a rally here, where she spoke regarding the recent audio and video tape released regarding a judge being blackmailed.

Maryam Nawaz said that enemies have surrounded Nawaz Sharif and her, adding that the former prime minister is paying the price for raising voice in the public’s favour.

She said that the former prime minister is not only innocent but brave as well. 

In relation to the cases against her imprisoned father, Maryam said that the former prime minister has been declared innocent as mischief against him has been proven.

Maryam Nawaz said that inflation has reached new heights and owing to the situation Prime Minister Imran Khan should tender his resignation.
