LAHORE: Lahore city is still facing severe fuel shortage at the beginning of week as petrol is not available at pumps even after one week has passed, Geo News reported Monday.
Several filling stations in the city remained closed as oil companies could not arrange fuel supplies for them.
At some filling stations where supplies are delivered, long queues of vehicles and motorcycles are seen waiting for hours and even then are supplied at much lower scale in order to cater to the needs of maximum motorists.
At some places, vendors are selling petrol at higher prices. Citizens have demanded the government to take immediate notice whereas petrol pump administration has told that oil supplying companies are not supplying fuel due to which the city is facing shortage.
