ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Ministry summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia to record protest against the violation of ceasefire agreement and firing on innocent civilians across the Line of Control.

According to the Foreign Office, Indian security forces on Tuesday martyred a civilian in unprovoked firing in Tattapani sector.

Director General (SA & SAARC), Dr Mohammad Faisal handed over the demarche, protesting the unprovoked firing.

The FO said that the Indian army is continuously targeting civilians on the Control Line and Working Boundary.
