MULTAN: Showing solidarity with Quetta’s doctors against brutal action by police on Wednesday, Out-patient Departments (OPDs) in Nishtar Hospital Multan and other major government hospitals of Southern Punjab were closed by the doctors.
The out-patient departments in all major hospitals in Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan were shut down on the call of Young Doctors Association (YDA) to protest against manhandling of doctors in Quetta.
Patients in OPDs suffered as doctors were not attending them. However, patients in Emergency were getting doctors’ attention. (PPI)
