Director sports board Quetta gunned down

QUETTA: Unidentified armed men Thursday shot dead deputy director general of Pakistan sports board and Olympian Abrar Hussain at Quetta jail road, Geo News reported.

According to police, Syed Abrar Hussain was returning home from his office situated in Shah Ayub Stadium when some unidentified armed person opened firing on his car that cause serious injuries to Abrar Hussain. He was shifted to CMH from Civil hospital Quetta where is succumbed to injuries.

The dead body was later shifted to his home located at Alamdar road.

The Governor Balochistan, Nawab Zulfikar Ali Magsi and Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani have condemned the killing of Abrar Hussain and directed police to arrest the culprits at the earliest.
